In Treatment

I just finished watching the second season of "In Treatment" and can I just say this is one of the best series I have ever seen (and I was loyal to "Northern Exposure" for many years).  I sure hope we get the third season here, and soon!

I learned a lot watching this (that therapy often doesn't actually solve any problems and usually creates new ones) and yet I often thought how nice it would be to have someone like Paul to listen to all my problems.  Especially this week!  Family drama and a painful hip have really been getting me down, and that has kept me from posting.

Of course you don't get to be 45 without learning that all things pass, and life is full of ups and downs, right?   Next post will most likely be a lot more positive...

I'm sorry you are having a rough week. Even though you know there are ups and downs, that doesn't mean they still don't affect us, in some little (or large) way! Hope your week gets better :)

Is that a series I need to try? Maybe.

Life can be such a roller coaster at times. Hope soon your ride will be smoother.
No TV at our house but I do remember Twin Peaks. That was a fun show to watch.

Sometimes an escape into the television set is just what we need....nothing like a good wallow every once in a while! Big hugs to you, dear, and may the upturn come quickly.

My girlfriends are my therapists and most of my therapy is done in coffee shops. Much more fun than actually seeing a professional and way cheaper.

Sorry to hear about your rough week Amy. Hope it will get better from this point on.

I believe they did this show in Holland too, called "In therapie". It got good critics but I never watched it.

Sorry about your week. I hope that this is only a moment and very soon all the things go well.
What a pity, I don't follow the TV series....

We are allowed to chill a little once in awhile, hang in there with the family drama and I do wish you some less pain in the hip...

Stay positive...

I know those weeks can be hard. I've seen a therapist once before when we were trying to figure out how to handle an adoption reunion with my birth family. It was helpful. Hope this week goes better for you.
